Advocates Legal Recruiting presents an IP Litigation Associate role for an AmLaw 100 client. You will litigate patent and technical trade secret disputes in federal courts and at the PTAB, with a national platform spanning multiple hubs.

Candidates should be JD class years 2019–2022, with strong IP litigation background and an undergrad degree in EE/CE/CS/ME/ChemE/BiomedE or similar. Clerkship, CAFC experience, is highly valued. Locations include DEN, LAX, NYC, PAL, SFO, and WAS.

Qualifications

• JD class years 2019–2022
• Strong IP litigation experience with patent and/or trade secret focus
• Undergraduate degree in EE/CE/CS/ME/ChemE/BiomedE or similar; CAFC clerkship valued

Responsibilities

• Litigate patent and technical trade secret matters in federal courts and at the PTAB
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, take and defend depositions
• Work directly with partners, in-house counsel, and experts on strategy, damages, and trial prep
• Collaborate across offices on technologies spanning software, semiconductors, life sciences, and mechanical systems
