A prominent Am Law 200 law firm is seeking an experienced Patent Litigation Attorney to join its Intellectual Property Group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent research and writing skills, possess strong communication skills, and have a high technical and analytical aptitude. Associates have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, experienced IP litigators in a friendly, team-based environment. This position can also be based out of their New York City office.

Essential Functions:

• Manages day-to-day and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
• Possesses strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates a great work ethic and an ability to work productively both independently and cooperatively with other members of the IP Litigation team
• Produces high quality legal work and provides excellent client services
• Manages business and generates business through group and individual efforts
• Complies with the highest ethical standards of the legal profession
• Decision Making – ability to make decisions with little supervision when necessary
• Communication – strong, professional oral and written communication skills
• Leadership – effectively delegates work to other members of the team when appropriate
