Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, is looking to hire a mid-level IP Litigation Associate in the Chicago office's Intellectual Property and Technology group. This position will assist with trademark and copyright litigation matters, including anti-counterfeiting litigation and online enforcement. The role involves handling all aspects of litigation, such as drafting complaints, applications for TROs and preliminary injunctions, managing high-volume discovery, taking depositions, and preparing dispositive motions and settlement agreements. GT seeks a motivated self-starter who works well on a team and is eager to take ownership of key case aspects and develop leadership skills early in their career.

Candidates should have 3-4 years of litigation experience, including managing written discovery, brief writing, depositions, and related tasks. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Self-motivation and flexibility are essential. Prior experience at a regional or national law firm is preferred. Applicants must be admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in.

Compensation: The expected pay range for this position is $230,000-$300,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with optional HSA, short and long-term disability, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401K, vacation, sick leave, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary benefits include accident insurance, voluntary life, disability, long-term care, critical illness, cancer insurance, pet insurance, and possibly commuter and transit programs in certain markets.
