Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Paralegal, Licensing & Anti‑Counterfeit to join our legal team supporting licensing for consumer products and IP rights for the LA28 Games. This role offers the chance to draft and review agreements and interface with IOC and business units.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years paralegal experience, strong drafting and research skills, IP knowledge, and proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; paralegal certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as paralegal, contract specialist, or legal assistant (preferred in large firm or corporate in‑house).
• Experience drafting commercial contracts, highly preferred.
• Foundational exposure to IP law, trademark registration timelines and classifications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong research, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel; ability to draft documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
• Experience with contract management systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; paralegal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and summarize licensing agreements for consumer products and IP holders.
• Interface with business units and IOC to manage licensing of Olympic/IP.
• Work with the legal team on education regarding IP protection.
• Maintain the internal trademark database and track filing deadlines.
• Assist with drafting and reviewing operating contracts, NDAs, RFP collateral, and confidential memos.
