Job summary

You will help with patent docketing, preparing application documents, and responding to Office Actions, while maintaining client databases and assisting with billing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related IP/paralegal experience.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; quick to learn new software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities under deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime occasionally.
• Hybrid work: on-site three days per week in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Assist with responses to U.S. Office Actions and IP docketing.
• Prepare patent application documents and related papers.
• Proofread and file patent applications and Office Action responses.
• Manage incoming mail/email and track deadlines.
• Maintain client databases and provide status updates.
• Assist with client billing and administrative tasks.
• Utilize MS Office and firm systems for daily work.
