Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an Intellectual Property (IP) Assistant for a 12-week temporary assignment with a Boston law firm to support a busy Life Sciences practice. You will assist with patent prosecution, USPTO filings, docket management, IDS preparation, prior art tracking, and attorney support, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in domestic and foreign patent matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of law firm/IP/patent prosecution or legal support experience preferred.
• Experience with USPTO filings and patent prosecution support.
• Strong docketing, calendaring, and deadline management skills.
• Experience preparing IDS, prior art lists and related patent documentation.
• Ability to manage domestic and foreign patent matters and maintain accurate case data.
