Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP in the U.S. Midwest is seeking a detail-oriented Docketing Administrator to maintain accuracy in the firm’s IP docketing system and support attorneys across intellectual property and litigation matters.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and proficient with CPI IP docketing software, able to manage multiple cases and communicate clearly with attorneys and paralegals. The role focuses on IP docketing across patents, trademarks, and copyrights, including data

Qualifications

US Patent docketing experience required; familiarity with CPI preferred.
1+ years of experience in a similar role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Enter and docket incoming daily mail, faxes and emails promptly.
Enter and docket outgoing correspondence and filings.
Register new applications, office actions and correspondence for IP (patents, trademarks, copyrights).
Review and monitor emails from IP docketing inboxes.
Maintain docket in CPI and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
