Gaude Business and Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney to protect technology, software, and ideas across the business. You will work with leadership, engineers, product teams, and outside counsel to ensure ownership is clear and technology is properly protected.

Responsibilities include reviewing AI tech, advising on IP rights, drafting licensing terms, and coordinating filings. The role offers growth into senior IP or corporate counsel leadership.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• Experience in IP related to software, AI, SaaS, or technical businesses.
• Patent experience or USPTO registration is a strong plus.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review products, software, AI tech, and developments to identify IP needing protection.
• Advise leadership and technical teams on patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing.
• Draft and negotiate IP provisions in customer, vendor, development, partnership, and technology agreements.
• Review software licensing and technology-use agreements before commitments are made.
• Coordinate patent and trademark filings with outside counsel and track deadlines.
