Dorsey & Whitney LLP seeks a Practice Group Director to steer the success of our Patent, Trademark, Regulatory Affairs, Labor & Employment, and Construction Litigation Practice Groups. You will collaborate with Practice Group leadership and key admin functions to align priorities with firm initiatives, drive operational excellence, and foster people-centered processes across groups.

This is a hybrid role, based in any U.S.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within professional services.

Responsabilités

• Act as strategic advisor to firm and practice group leadership on operational matters.
• Lead workflow design, staffing models, and quality controls for IP and related practices.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Marketing and Knowledge Management to implement firm initiatives.
• Lead onboarding, succession planning, training, and associate advancement to partnership.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, and matter management; drive operational enhancements.
• Support client reporting and cross-practice initiatives with marketing and events.
• Promote clear communication and address morale, retention, and performance concerns.”
