Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a Practice Group Director to drive success across Patent, Trademark, Regulatory Affairs, Labor & Employment, and Construction Litigation groups. Based in any U.S.

office, you will partner with Practice Group leadership and administrative functions to align priorities with firm initiatives and champion people-focused processes. You'll lead operational design, staffing models, budgeting, and cross‑department collaboration, while guiding career development,

Qualificações

• Strategic leadership and management experience are required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive results.
• Strong collaboration with HR, Finance, Marketing, and KM.
• Experience with onboarding, offboarding, succession planning, and performance management.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Act as strategic advisor to firm and Practice Group leadership on operations and administration.
• Lead workflow design, staffing models, quality controls, and resource allocation for IP practices.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, KM, Marketing to implement firm initiatives within Practice Groups.
• Lead people-focused initiatives including onboarding, succession planning, training, and associate development.
• Coordinate with Finance on budgets, reporting, and matter management; monitor trends.
• Support cross-practice initiatives and client-facing collaboration, including sponsorships and events.
