Job summary

C-Care Hospitals & Clinics Mauritius is seeking an IP Administrative Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head of IP Services and the inpatient team in Mauritius. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Head of IP Services and the wider IP team.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and departmental correspondence.
  • Coordinate and monitor departmental training and compliance.
  • Support quality audits, CQI initiatives, and patient experience activities.
  • Collect and analyse departmental data and prepare performance reports.
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Manage roster uploads, attendance corrections, and overtime verification.
  • Monitor patient feedback, scores, and improvement actions.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow up on action plans, and monitor completion of tasks.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and departmental projects when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.

Job description

C-Care Hospitals & Clinics Mauritius is currently looking for an IP Administrative Support.

Reporting to the Head of IP Services, the IP Administrative Support Officer provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head of IP Services and the wider Inpatient Services team to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of inpatient operations. The role supports quality initiatives, training coordination, reporting, auditing activities, patient experience monitoring, roster administration, and continuous improvement projects within the department.

What you will be doing:
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of IP Services and the wider IP team.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and departmental correspondence.
  • Coordinate and monitor departmental training and compliance.
  • Support quality audits, CQI initiatives, and patient experience activities.
  • Collect and analyse departmental data and prepare performance reports.
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Manage Vipertex roster uploads, attendance corrections, and overtime verification.
  • Monitor patient feedback, NTS scores, and support improvement actions.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow up on action plans, and monitor completion of assigned tasks.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and departmental projects when required.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and departmental documentation.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with departmental projects and any other duties assigned by the Head of IP Services.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably within healthcare.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
