Job summary

Lindsay Corporation, a global irrigation and infrastructure solutions provider, seeks an experienced Hardware Engineer to design, validate, and deliver IoT hardware across product lines at its Omaha, NE headquarters. You will lead projects from concept to release, develop analog/digital/RF circuits, and collaborate with firmware teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years professional experience in hardware development for embedded or IoT products.
• Proven track record from concept to manufacturing release.
• Expertise in analog, digital, power supply, and RF circuit design; RF and high-speed interfaces.
• Proficient in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong testing, validation, and regulatory compliance capabilities.
• Experience mentoring or coaching peers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware development projects from concept through production release.
• Design and validate analog, digital, and RF circuits for embedded and IoT systems.
• Create and maintain schematic designs and PCB layouts (Altium preferred).
• Evaluate and select electronic components for lifecycle and supply chain suitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for hardware-firmware integration.
• Perform board/system-level testing and validation with standard lab equipment.
• Develop and execute product validation plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document designs, test plans, and changes; share knowledge with the team.
• Support products post-launch through troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to hardware development best practices.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and status reporting.
• Perform other duties as necessary to ensure project success.
