Job summary

Oxiom, a Boston-based IoT hardware company, is seeking an experienced hardware design engineer to design next-generation tracking devices with advanced sensors. You will work on embedded systems, low-power design, and wireless communication protocols, collaborating with firmware engineers to optimize hardware-software integration.

The role involves testing and validating prototypes, managing manufacturing relationships, and contributing to product development and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware design for IoT or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.
• Experience with wireless protocols (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, GPS).
• Knowledge of sensor technologies and low-power design techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
