Job summary

Unknown Client seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Electronics Subsystems group, owning hardware design and validation for smart dispensing devices. You will work across functions to design, validate, and bring products to production through a structured stage-gate process.

The role requires hands-on PCB design, wireless connectivity expertise, and collaboration with software/firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and production readiness.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Thread and Matter wireless connectivity.
• Familiarity with microcontroller circuit design and interfaces (Serial, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Coordinate with Procurement and Manufacturing to identify supply chain issues and actions.
• Judgment on verification testing for End-of-Life components.
• Collaborate with Firmware and Software to guide drivers for alternate components.
• Understand electronics design lifecycle from requirements to manufacturing.
• Experience with PLM systems and BOM lifecycle tools.
• Develop component specifications and test plans.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimum hardware architecture and design for products.
• Spec, design, build, test, and release embedded PCB designs.
• Collaborate with software/firmware teams on dependencies between hardware and software.
• Improve quality, reduce cost, and drive development of new/existing products.
• Apply DFx best practices for PCB assembly and testing.
• Communicate across groups to align efforts.
