Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a focus on connectivity and embedded design for an on-site role in Atlanta, GA. You will join the Electronics Subsystems Group and work across hardware, firmware, and software to design and validate circuits used in beverage dispenser hardware.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware architecting, cross-functional collaboration, and DFx best practices, with a contract basis and a market-competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with wireless connectivity (Thread, Matter) and BT/WiFi is highly desired.
• Familiarity with MCU design and standard interfaces (Serial, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Ability to coordinate with procurement/manufacturing on supply issues and last-time-buy decisions.
• Knowledge of DFx practices for PCB assembly and testing.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (FCC, ETSI, UL, CE) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect hardware systems for Freestyle Dispensers.
• Design, build, test and release embedded PCB designs.
• Collaborate with software/firmware teams on hardware/software interfaces.
• Improve product quality, reduce cost, and drive continuous product development.
• Document and communicate findings; guide component selection and changes.
• Support production and supply chain considerations across the lifecycle.
