Job summary

Facility Contract Services (FCS) seeks an IoT Specialist to provide technical and field support for City networked IoT and security systems. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and test PoE/IP cameras, access control devices, and related hardware and software. Coordinate with Municipal Security Unit personnel, vendors, and city staff.

The role requires field troubleshooting from device to application, with documentation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years in low-voltage electronic systems or IoT/security tech.
• Experience with IP video surveillance and access control devices.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure IP/PoE cameras and access control devices.
• Troubleshoot network, power, and cabling for field devices.
• Support VMS platforms and firmware updates; coordinate with vendors.
• Document installations and maintain accurate work records.
