Job summary

Compass Real Estate - Peninsula is hiring an iOS engineer to help build a mobile platform that powers home buying and selling experiences. You will work with Product and Design to scope features, write maintainable Swift code, and deliver well-tested components with guidance from the team.

Your role involves collaborating across engineers, product, and design to ship projects that delight users while maintaining high code quality and architectural discipline.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional iOS development using Swift and shipping apps to the App Store.
• Experience with SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience integrating with RESTful backend services.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Build components and deliver features for the iOS platform with guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to scope and prioritize features.
• Perform code reviews and write high-quality tests.
• Maintain code quality and operational excellence across the mobile stack.
• Create clear documentation and contribute to team knowledge.
