Job summary

Compass is seeking an iOS engineer to help build a mobile platform for the home buying and selling experience. You will work with Product and Design to design, scope, and deliver features, building components independently with some guidance.

You will collaborate with engineers across teams, write tests, perform code reviews, and uphold code quality and operational standards while advancing one or more components in the domain.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift and shipping apps to the App Store.
• Familiarity with modern Swift development practices (SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency).
• Exposure to reactive programming frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build components and deliver features with some guidance.
• Contribute to team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions for well-defined features.
• Perform code reviews and write high-quality tests.
• Create documentation and maintain high standards of quality and operational rigor.
