NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY is seeking an Intraoperative Monitoring/Neurophysiology Technician IV for full-time day shift. The role focuses on OR neurophysiology across age groups, coordinating with Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cardiac and Vascular teams to set up monitoring and ensure sterile protocol.

CNIM certification is required, with 3–5 years of EEG/EP experience and strong computer skills to document and review intraoperative

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) required by ABRET.
• Graduation from an accredited neuroelectrodiagnostic training program or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years experience performing EEG and/or EP.
• Knowledge of applicable computer operating systems and software.

Responsabilidades

• Set up patient for Operating Room monitoring with minimal supervision.
• Interact with Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Cardiac and Vascular teams.
• Perform electrode application in an anesthetized patient while adhering to sterile OR protocols.
• Conduct electrode application using needle electrodes for intraoperative stimulation and recording.
