Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in collaboration with Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking an Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM)/Neurophysiology Technician IV for a full-time day shift.

You will support Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Cardiac and Vascular teams, set up patients for OR monitoring, and collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia staff to ensure safe, accurate neurophysiologic data acquisition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNIM certification required by ABRET.
• Graduation from an accredited neuroelectrodiagnostic training program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up patient for Operating Room monitoring with minimal supervision.
• Interact with Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Cardiac and Vascular teams.
• Perform electrode application in anesthetized patient while adhering to sterile protocols.
• Conduct electrode application using needle electrodes for intraoperative stimulation and recording.
