Job summary

TPG is seeking an Associate for its Client Reporting team to own monthly and quarterly investor reporting, build automated data pipelines, and deliver high-quality regulatory templates. You will work at the intersection of private credit, data engineering, and institutional investor relations, writing SQL and Python and building Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in data analytics, BI, or finance analytics.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Hands-on experience building automated workflows and data pipelines in Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, formulas, pivot tables).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for coding or problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive under deadline pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
• Understanding of private credit, private equity, or hedge fund reporting conventions.
• Track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production and delivery of monthly and quarterly investor reports, performance summaries, regulatory templates, and exposure analyses.
• Build and maintain automated SQL/Python pipelines and Power BI dashboards that transform raw data into reporting-ready outputs for institutional investors.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders; manage timelines, gather requirements, validate data, and resolve discrepancies.
• Design and implement robust automation workflows using SQL, Python, Alteryx, and Power BI to improve efficiency and ensure data accuracy.
• Translate complex business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively across audiences during quarterly reporting cycles.
