Job summary

TPG, a leading global alternative asset manager, is seeking a high-performing Analyst for the Client Reporting team at the intersection of private credit, data engineering, and investor relations. You will own production and delivery of monthly and quarterly investor reports, build automated data pipelines, and develop Power BI dashboards in Databricks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or finance analytics (asset management/financial services strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Hands-on experience building automated workflows and data pipelines in Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, complex formulas, pivot tables).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, ) for coding or problem-solving.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive under deadline pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production and delivery of monthly and quarterly investor reports, performance summaries, regulatory templates, and exposure analyses; build and maintain automated SQL/Python pipelines and Power BI dashboards that transform raw data from Databricks and SQL Server into reporting-ready outputs for institutional investors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders across portfolio management, investor relations, fund accounting, and operations; proactively manage reporting timelines, gather requirements, validate data, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships across technical and non-technical teams
• Design and implement robust automation workflows using SQL, Python, Alteryx, and Power BI to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency; write production-quality, well-documented code with built-in validation and reconciliation controls that ensure data accuracy before deliverables reach stakeholders
• Translate complex business needs into technical solutions; communicate effectively across audiences, elevate issues appropriately, and demonstrate flexibility and ownership during quarterly reporting cycles and time-sensitive deadlines—willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality and timeliness
