Job summary

State Street in Boston seeks an Investor Relations professional to advise senior management on financial performance within the market context. You will model finances, analyze consensus, and deliver market intelligence while coordinating with Legal, SEC Reporting and Finance.

Role requires strong analytics, exceptional communication, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 5+ years in IR or related finance roles is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Investor Relations, equity or credit research, corporate finance, or investment banking focusing on financials.
• Strong numeracy with bank financial analysis and valuation knowledge.
• CFA or equivalent qualification desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently with an owner’s mindset and as a collaborative team player.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal meetings with executive management to understand financial and strategic impact.
• Prepare earnings releases, executive Q&A, and presentation materials as required.
• Help communicate the company’s vision and strategy for shareholder value.
• Analyze sell-side models and understand street expectations.
• Gather competitive intelligence and collaborate with other areas of the firm.
• Provide insights on competitive position, strategic advantages, threats and opportunities.
• Summarize earnings reports and conference insights for management.
