Job summary

State Street is seeking a Revenue Financial and Business Analyst AVP to join the SSIM FP&A group. The role encompasses planning, budgeting, forecasting, and robust management reporting for the IM business, with analytics delivered to senior management and Investor Relations.

As a key adviser to the SSIM CFO, you will identify strategic risks and opportunities, build and automate financial packages, and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive performance and transparency across the

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles.
Strong collaboration, numerical, problem solving and analytical skills.
Able to work under pressure, be a team player, and self-starter.
Advanced Microsoft Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills required.
Knowledge of Asset Management industry a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis for the SSIM business globally.
Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and analytics, including IR earnings analysis and revenue/expense analytics.
Monitor financial tracking of strategic investments in partnership with SSIM CFOs.
Provide transparency on SSIM performance to Corporate Finance and Investor Relations.
Advise SSIM CFO on strategic risks and opportunities and suggest actions.
Design and update Excel/PowerPoint financial packages; leverage Tableau/Alteryx/Power BI; use IBM Planning Analytics for planning.
Document procedures related to reports, processes and presentations.
Conduct ad hoc research and variance analysis, support supervisor and projects.
