Job summary

State Street is seeking a Revenue Financial and Business Analyst AVP to join the SSIM FP&A group. The role encompasses planning, budgeting, forecasting, and robust management reporting for the IM business, with analytics delivered to senior management and Investor Relations.

As a key adviser to the SSIM CFO, you will identify strategic risks and opportunities, build and automate financial packages, and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive performance and transparency across the

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles.
• Strong collaboration, numerical, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work under pressure, be a team player, and self-starter.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills required.
• Knowledge of Asset Management industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis for the SSIM business globally.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and analytics, including IR earnings analysis and revenue/expense analytics.
• Monitor financial tracking of strategic investments in partnership with SSIM CFOs.
• Provide transparency on SSIM performance to Corporate Finance and Investor Relations.
• Advise SSIM CFO on strategic risks and opportunities and suggest actions.
• Design and update Excel/PowerPoint financial packages; leverage Tableau/Alteryx/Power BI; use IBM Planning Analytics for planning.
• Document procedures related to reports, processes and presentations.
• Conduct ad hoc research and variance analysis, support supervisor and projects.
