Texas State Securities Board is seeking an experienced Investor Education and Communications Coordinator. You will lead statewide investor education programs, develop public content, and manage outreach across Texas, including schools, communities, and professional groups.

The role requires strong writing and speaking skills, collaboration with agency leadership and external partners, and travel 30%–40% across Texas with occasional evening or weekend events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public administration, business, finance, economics, marketing, education, journalism, digital media, or a related field.
• At least three years of communications, public outreach, or financial education experience.
• Experience developing, creating, editing, and publishing content for websites, social media, or other public communications.
• Experience communicating complex information clearly to nontechnical audiences.
• Experience delivering presentations or speaking before groups.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and manage statewide investor education programs and financial literacy initiatives.
• Identify grant opportunities and coordinate grant applications; track and report funded activities.
• Develop annual outreach strategies and maintain a statewide calendar of events and partnerships.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual presentations to diverse audiences across Texas.
• Draft investor education materials and manage digital content including social media and websites.
