• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Attention to detail and ability to resolve data issues.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily remittance processing, cutoff reporting, and reconciliations for investor portfolios (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, or private investors).
• Prepare and review monthly investor reports and remittances along with related cash movements and accounting entries.
• Ensure remittance wires are completed timely and accurately.
• Research data issues and propose solutions for future process enhancements.
• Facilitate remittance-related GL journal entries as required.
• Maintain and follow procedures and controls within the monthly process.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Open items identified through reconciliation and research variances.
