Job summary

RGA is a Fortune 200 company focused on life- and health-related solutions and is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer. You will provide architectural direction, lead a full stack team, and develop API-based applications with a cloud-first approach.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, and drive solutions across the SDLC using Agile methodologies. Expect leadership in CI/CD and IaC while promoting architectural standards.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience required.
Advanced Python development required.
API integrations, testing and automation, OO design and best practices required.
AWS experience with Data Ops and related services required.
Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a development team; oversee quality, timelines, and risks.
Provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC.
Mentor engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver tech solutions.
Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support activities.
Build scalable, event-driven solutions using AWS services and modern patterns.
Develop and maintain Python-based APIs, integrations, automation, and platform capabilities.
Analyze requirements, create designs, and deliver solutions with Agile methodologies.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
