Transamerica is seeking an experienced accounting/finance professional to join Investment Reporting, overseeing asset transfer coordination, data integrity, and reconciliations. You will interface with ERP and ARCs to ensure accurate financial reporting and statutory readiness, while supporting regulatory filings and improving processes.

The role demands strong analytical skills, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid office

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience, with degree.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead coordination, communications and prioritization of asset transfer requests and ensure business requirements are met timely.
• Responsible for PIMR accounting and reporting.
• Responsible for core system integrity and data quality in accordance with accounting policy and processing procedures and financial data is accurate based upon accounting and investment knowledge.
• Responsible for oversight, review, and approval of Reconciliations for fixed income assets in ARCs. Partner with ERP to understand functionality and system capability to support Investment Reporting reconciliation requirements.
• Responsible for oversight, review and monitoring of suspense balances for fixed income assets
• Responsible for monthly reconciliations from source back to general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and if necessary, prepare correcting journal entries.
• Responsible for assisting with preparation of regulatory financials on a Statutory accounting basis.
• Respond to requests received from management and other departments.
• Understands the flow of information and uses that knowledge to troubleshoot problems.
• Accountable for maintaining a positive, proactive relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Recommend changes to processes to improve and achieve greater efficiencies by documenting business requirements and participating in testing efforts.
• May mentor other analysts with reconciliations and other operational processes.
