Job summary

Bain Capital in Boston seeks an Analyst/Associate to support Investor Relations across Global Private Markets. You will gather information, conduct in‑depth analysis, and create materials to help meetings go smoothly.

You will build calling lists, maintain the CRM pipeline, and coordinate materials with Coverage Officers. The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, data handling, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• BS/BA from a highly regarded institution.
• 1-4+ years of experience in asset management, consulting or financial services’ related marketing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior personnel across the firm.
• Strong analytical skills; comfort organizing and interpreting large amounts of data.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to take on any task, no matter how small.
• Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience manipulating large data sets with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.
• Series 7 and 63; if not currently licensed, successful hire must complete tests in the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• The Analyst/Associate will have primary responsibility for working with senior Investor Relations professionals covering Bain Capital Global Private Markets team.
• The Analyst/Associate will work alongside IR Coverage Officers and gather information, conduct in-depth analysis, and create materials for prospect meetings.
• The Associate must research/collect information to maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and provide extensive analysis on current prospects.
• The Analyst/Associate will develop in-depth knowledge of each CO’s territory and coordinate production of all materials and follow‑up requests.
• Sales prospect pipeline development (by region, type) and CRM pipeline maintenance/reporting.
• Oversee data management tasks for Coverage Officers in Salesforce.com to support business development and investor related activities.
