Job summary

Triatomic Capital seeks AI-native, deeply technical Investment Principals to evaluate and back founders building the next-gen compute stack. You will source, diligence, and defend investment theses using agentic workflows and a strong founder network.

You’ll dive into physics, chips, infrastructure, and models, drafting crisp IC decks and working closely with GPs and portfolio companies. This role emphasizes technical rigor and hands-on involvement with early-stage opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in science, engineering, physics, or math.
• Interest in investing; no prior investing experience required.
• Fluent with today’s AI tools, both general-purpose and vertical-specific, and open to trying new ones.
• Strong network with founders, early employees at startups, engineers and leaders at hyperscalers, neoclouds, chipmakers, AI labs, and techbio.
• Curious, rigorous, and capable of forming and defending a view.

Responsibilities

• Source startup opportunities using agentic pipelines over tools like Harmonic and Affinity, plus your own IRL network.
• Lead diligence (technical and business) on companies where questions touch physics, chips, infra, and models; use agents to compress timelines for reference checks, market landscape, and financial modeling.
• Draft crisp IC decks and defend investment theses with the GPs.
• Design and maintain internal agentic workflows for research, sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management.
• Work closely with founders and our portfolio after we invest.

What you'll do

• Source. Run your own sourcing engine using agentic pipelines over tools like Harmonic and Affinity, plus your own IRL network. Meet founders early and often.

• Diligence. Lead diligence (technical and business) on companies where the hard questions are about physics, chips, infrastructure, and models. Use agents to compress timelines for reference checks, market landscape, and financial modeling.

• Decide. Draft crisp IC decks and defend your investment theses with the GPs.

• Build. Design and maintain our internal agentic workflows for research, sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management.

• Support. Work closely with founders and our portfolio after we invest.

Who you are

• You have an undergraduate degree in science, engineering, physics, or math.

• You have a real interest in investing. No prior investing experience is needed.
