Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or consulting, plus exceptional modeling, valuation, and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience in a venture-backed startup or operating environment is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Exceptional written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with incomplete information and ambiguity.
• Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies, and company building.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Collaborative, low-ego, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to operate in a demanding environment.
• Fluency with modern AI tools and interest in AI-native workflows.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on markets, technologies, competitors, and industry trends
• Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials
• Support investment diligence and evaluation of potential investments
• Assist with company formation and readiness initiatives
• Prepare investment memos, meeting pre-reads, and other written materials
• Support portfolio companies with financial and operational projects
• Assist senior team members with investment analysis and meeting preparation
• Support LP-facing activities and fundraising processes
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and data tools to improve research and analysis
