Job summary

Wellington Management is offering a Technology Co-op position within the Science Research Technology team. This role exposes you to data engineering, investment research, and application development, shaping how tech informs investment decisions.

The Co-op may onboard new datasets, build data pipelines, and develop data quality checks while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders. Start date around December 2026/January 2027; Northeastern students only.

Qualifications

• Northeastern University student eligible for co-op program.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Familiarity with Pandas and PySpark preferred.
• Experience with cloud data solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data scientists to translate requirements into work items.
• Participate in technical design of data solutions.
• Develop data pipelines to onboard datasets.
• Evaluate and onboard alternative datasets, including web-scraped sources.
• Contribute to AI-enhanced data analytics projects.
• Enable data analysis and data quality using various tools.
• Test, roll out applications and support adoption.
