Wellington Management Company, a leading global investment manager, is seeking a Technology Co-op in Boston to join the Science Research Technology team. You will help build the data and technology foundation powering investment research across Fixed Income and Equity, collaborating with data scientists and engineers on data pipelines and innovative datasets.

The role offers exposure to data engineering, application development, and cutting-edge AI projects while working closely with business

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Python.
• Familiar in data analysis using Python (Pandas, PySpark).
• Knowledgeable in building data solutions on cloud (AWS, Azure).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements to actionable work items with data science partners.
• Participate in technical design of solutions.
• Develop data pipelines to onboard datasets.
• Evaluate and onboard alternative datasets including web-scraped sources.
• Contribute to AI-enabled data analytics for investment research.
• Enable data analysis and data quality checks.
