Job summary

Career Group Search seeks an Investment Operations Associate in New York, NY onsite. You will support the full lifecycle of trade operations and reporting across private credit and related asset classes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely settlements.

You will collaborate with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to optimize processes, enhance controls, and implement automation with AI tools for better productivity and governance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Trade Management, Investment Operations, or Finance
• Strong understanding of bank loans and trade lifecycle
• Familiarity with credit agreement terms and operational processes
• Ability to perform detailed data reconciliations across multiple systems
• Experience with enterprise LMS or similar tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proficiency with BlackRock Aladdin preferred

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of private credit investments: trade support, cash and position reconciliations
• Liaise with agents, servicers, custodians and counterparties to resolve settlement breaks
• Partner with research, portfolio management, fund accounting, and tech to automate workflows
• Work with internal/external parties to address operational needs and drive resolution
• Enhance operational infrastructure to drive scalability while upholding governance
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making
