Job summary

OneWell is seeking an Operations Associate to manage day-to-day back and middle office functions. You will handle money movement, capital calls, distributions, NAV data, and document storage, partnering with the Director of Operations to support UHNW clients and endowments.

You will also oversee client onboarding, account openings with custodians (Schwab), and weekly portfolio reporting processes, while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in investment operations at an RIA, multi-family office, wealth management firm, fund administrator, or major accounting firm.
• You understand how money moves, what a capital call notice looks like, and why NAV timeliness matters.
• You are comfortable in a portfolio reporting system and learn new platforms quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own back office operations including money movement, capital call and distribution processing, and alternative investment subscriptions and redemptions.
• Manage capital call pipeline tracking, notices, deadlines, and LP communications with oversight on escalations.
• Lead NAV ingestion and stale price monitoring for alternative investments; manage investment document storage (subscriptions, notices, K-1s, audited financials).
• Own client onboarding and account opening operations across custodians (primarily Schwab) and maintain data in Black Diamond.
• Support middle office by confirming settlements and addressing settlement issues; assist compliance with files, ADV updates, and audits.
