Job summary

GMO invites high-potential graduates to its two-year Investment Operations Associate Program, offering rotations across Trade Operations, Investment Analysis, Pricing Analytics, Reconciliations Analytics and Shareholder Services. You will work with multiple GMO teams to learn core operational functions and build a path toward a full-time role after two years.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field by June 2027.
Prior exposure to financial services via internships, projects or coursework.
Desire to learn a broad range of skills across investment operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid quantitative and analytical abilities and quick learner of new concepts.
Positive, professional and mature demeanor.
Detail oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize.
Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).

Responsibilities

Trade Operations: support GMO’s trading functions and lifecycle of trades.
Investment Analysis: cover asset classes, returns, attribution, exposure and risk analytics.
Pricing Analytics: ensure timely valuation across securities and derivatives.
Reconciliations Analytics: ensure data integrity from custodians across funds.
Shareholder Services: process and report client cash flows and collaborate with internal/external teams.
