Job summary

GMO in Boston is seeking high-potential graduates for the Investment Operations Associate Program, a two-year rotation across Trade Operations, Investment Analysis, Pricing Analytics, Reconciliations Analytics, and Shareholder Services.

Joining in June 2027, you will rotate roughly six months per team, receive extensive training, and aim to transition into a full-time role within an investment operations group.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field by June 2027.
• Previous exposure to financial services through internships, personal projects or classwork.
• Desire to learn a broad range of skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities and the ability to learn new concepts and systems.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., MS Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support Trading Operations and gain experience with equity, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Assist Investment Analysis with performance analytics and risk analytics.
• Contribute to Pricing Analytics and provide timely valuation insights.
• Support Reconciliations Analytics for data integrity across funds and accounts.
• Work with Shareholder Services to support client cash flows and related reporting.
