A Fort Worth single family office (AFO Capital) is hiring a systems-oriented professional to own investment operations end to end: data integrity, reporting outputs and systems infrastructure across its investment platform. Sits at the intersection of data infrastructure, reporting/analytics and investment operations. Explicitly not an investment, accounting-execution or IT role.
Overview of the Company: The company is a single family office for a Fort Worth-based family. The office is responsible for providing investment management, wealth management and other related services to the members of the family, their various investment partnerships and trusts, their private trust company, and their private foundation. Some of the key functions of the office include: investment and portfolio management; accounting, record keeping and financial reporting; trust administration; coordination of tax planning and trust and estate planning; and coordination of charitable activities.
The company's investment and portfolio management program consists of: (1) allocations to outside investment managers focused on fixed income, global equities, absolute return strategies, and private equity and venture capital funds; (2) direct investments in real estate; (3) selective direct investments in private companies and other private market opportunities, primarily through co-investments; and (4) tactical allocation decisions at the asset class and investment level.
Overview of the Position: The company is seeking a highly analytical, systems-oriented professional to have primary ownership over investment operations including data integrity, reporting outputs, and systems infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of data infrastructure, reporting/analytics, and investment operations, owning the full lifecycle from data ingestion to decision-ready outputs. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about operations, data, infrastructure, systems, and process design and has sufficient familiarity with investments and accounting to operate effectively within a complex investment ecosystem. This is a full-time, in-person position in Fort Worth, Texas, supporting the Investment Team and working collaboratively with accounting, IT, and legal roles within the office.
This role is: not an investment role and will not evolve into one; not responsible for accounting execution or financial reporting; not a legal role; not purely technical/engineering/IT, but is highly systems-oriented.
Compensation and Benefits: base salary and annual bonus vary based on experience; health, dental, vision and basic life insurance; 401(k) plan with 100% match on the first 3% and 50% match on the next 2% of employee contributions.
