Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is assisting a client in Austin, TX to hire an investments professional at Senior Associate or Manager level. You will support investment decisions across solar and battery energy storage projects, from diligence through FID and into construction and operations.

Responsibilities include building complex financial models, conducting due diligence, analyzing regulatory and market risks, and preparing investment materials for approvals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure private equity, investment banking (M&A, project finance, or tax equity), or project finance.
• Advanced Excel & PowerPoint with VBA knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of renewable energy project economics and tax incentives.
• Familiarity with tax credit monetization and construction-to-term debt financing.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a deal-driven environment.
• Experience preparing investment memoranda, board materials, and financing marketing materials.
• Strong critical thinking, curiosity, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-changing environment.
• Familiarity with interconnection processes, power market fundamentals, and regulatory landscape for renewables.
• Experience supporting due diligence processes and data rooms.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of investment memoranda, FID packages, and approval materials for internal committees.
• Build and maintain fully structured financial models to analyze project economics for solar and storage.
• Prepare marketing materials (teasers, CIMs) for internal and external stakeholders.
• Review third-party reports and project documentation to inform financial models.
• Support external platform-level capital raising with advisors and investors.
• Coordinate due diligence across legal, tax, insurance, environmental, engineering, and market consultants.
• Analyze regulatory compliance affecting project economics, including ITC/PTC and IRA rules.
• Monitor interconnection queue dynamics across ISOs/RTOs and coordinate with Interconnection team.
• Assist Development/Engineering/Procurement on early-stage designs and financing drivers.
• Provide mentorship to Analysts on the investments team.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
