Job summary

IMan Investment is seeking an Investment Manager to lead PowerGen coverage across the United States and the broader Americas. You will own full-cycle investment cases—from origination through diligence, negotiation and close—independently as a primary owner.

This role supports remote/hybrid arrangements for US-based or Americas-local talent, collaborating with our Asia-Pacific and Hong Kong–anchored platform across time zones.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years in VC, growth equity, PE, infra investing or related roles.
• Ability to independently own closed transactions; not just screening.
• Direct PowerGen or energy infra exposure preferred.
• Based in US/Americas or well-connected to the region.
• Fluent English; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.
• Strong financial and commercial modelling judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own PowerGen investment coverage for the US and key Americas markets.
• Independently run full-cycle deals: origination, diligence, negotiation, close.
• Build a pipeline of founders, assets and partnerships.
• Prepare investment memos, term sheets and IC materials.
• Lead founder meetings and commercial diligence as primary owner.
• Coordinate counsel, advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Map sector themes across generation, storage, grid services.
• Represent IMan with credibility in US/Americas founder ecosystems.

About the role

IMan Investment is hiring an Investment Manager to lead PowerGen coverage across the United States and the broader Americas. You will independently own full-cycle investment cases in power generation, grid-adjacent infrastructure and related clean / conventional energy platforms — from origination through diligence, negotiation and close.This seat is designed for US-based or Americas-local talent. Remote and hybrid arrangements are available for candidates who can operate as primary case owners and collaborate reliably with our Hong Kong–anchored platform across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own PowerGen investment coverage for the United States and priority Americas markets
• Independently run full-cycle cases: origination, diligence, term negotiation, documentation and close
• Build a high-conviction pipeline of PowerGen founders, assets and strategic partnership opportunities
• Produce investment memos, term sheets and IC materials for Partners
• Lead founder / management meetings and commercial diligence as the primary case owner
• Coordinate counsel, advisors and internal stakeholders to keep live deals on critical path
• Map sector themes across generation, storage, grid services and related infrastructure
• Represent IMan with credibility in US / Americas founder and ecosystem conversations

Requirements

• 6–12 years in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, infrastructure investing, energy banking / corporate development or related principal seats
• Full-cycle deal experience with proven ability to independently own closed transactions (not only screening or research support)
• Direct exposure to PowerGen, energy infrastructure, cleantech power or adjacent sectors strongly preferred
• Based in or deeply connected to the United States / Americas market; comfortable engaging local founders and operators
• Professional fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus
• Structured financial and commercial judgment; modelling competence expected
• Remote / hybrid working style with high ownership across US and Asia time zones
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA or equivalent experience a plus
