Ashton North LLC in New York is seeking Investment Funds Associate Attorneys to join our New York office. The role requires 3–6 years of experience in investment management and fund formation, with a JD from a top-tier law school and active Bar admission.

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
3–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation.
Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.

Responsibilities

Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other funds employing alternative investment strategies.
Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
