Job summary

Silverspace Inc. is seeking an Investment Management Associate to join its nationally recognized Practice Group in New York.

This partner-track role requires 3–8 years of experience in investment management, private funds, fund investments, and related transactional matters. You will advise institutional investors and funds across private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and credit, handling fund structuring, governance, and due diligence.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant investment management, fund formation, private funds, or structured finance experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client counseling skills.
• Ability to manage sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise institutional investors, private funds, and market participants on investment management matters.
• Handle private fund investments, fund structuring, governance, regulatory, and transactional matters.
• Conduct fund due diligence and negotiate investment-related documentation, including: Subscription Agreements, Investment Management Agreements, Separate Account Arrangements, Co-Investments, Continuation Vehicles, Secondaries Transactions.
• Work on private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, credit, and other alternative investment strategies.

Job Overview:

One of our clients is seeking an Investment Management Associate to join its nationally recognized Investment Management Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of experience with a strong background in investment management, private funds, fund investments, and transactional matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to advise institutional investors, private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, and credit funds on sophisticated investment and fund-related transactions in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise institutional investors, private funds, and market participants on investment management matters.
• Handle private fund investments, fund structuring, governance, regulatory, and transactional matters.
• Conduct fund due diligence and negotiate investment-related documentation, including:
• Subscription Agreements
• Investment Management Agreements
• Separate Account Arrangements
• Co-Investments
• Continuation Vehicles
• Secondaries Transactions
• Work on private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, credit, and other alternative investment strategies.

Preferred Experience:

• Representing pension plans, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, or other institutional investors.
• Private funds and alternative investment transactions.
• Structured finance, securitizations, asset-backed finance, fund finance, private credit, or structured products experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications:
