CareerNerds, LLC in New York seeks Investment Funds Associate Attorneys to join its internationally recognized AMLAW 50 fund practice in the New York office.

You will advise on fund formation and management for private equity, hedge, real estate, and other alternative investment strategies, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and contributing to business development.

Qualificações

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction (New York).
• 3–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation.
• Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.

Responsabilidades

• Represent private equity, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and other funds employing alternative investment strategies.
• Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
• Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
