Job summary

Investment Funds Associate Attorneys are sought by an international AMLAW 50 firm in New York. You will represent private fund clients across PE, hedge, real estate, and other strategies, and work on retail alternative funds with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should have a JD from a top-tier school, active Bar admission, and 3–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation. The firm offers a hybrid work environment and strong mentorship.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3-6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation.
• Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other funds employing alternative investment strategies.
• Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver legal solutions for clients.
