Job summary

CSC in Livingston, NJ is seeking an experienced accounting professional to review and reconcile investment activity, cash flows, and regulatory filings for assigned clients. You will prepare workpapers, support the trial balance, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.

You will lead and develop staff, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and drive efficiency improvements, including Excel-based automation, while upholding SLA standards and facilitating year-end and SOC 1

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
• Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, etc.).
• Investran and Geneva experience a plus.
• Strong delegation, mentoring, and staff oversight abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review accounting records, supporting schedules, and financial reports for assigned clients.
• Review cash activity, including journal entries and wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review investment activity, such as purchases and sales, and interest accruals/income.
• Review comprehensive workpapers that fully reconcile and support the trial balance.
• Review IRS Form 1099 in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate deliverables with client and internal teams; ensure SLA adherence.
