Zusammenfassung

CSC in Livingston, NJ is seeking an accounting professional to prepare and maintain accounting records, supporting schedules, and financial reports for assigned clients. You will process cash activity, record journal entries, and reconcile investments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The role supports audits, SOC 1, and SBA exams, with ongoing process improvements and automation projects.

Hybrid work three days in office per week, Mon-Fri 9:00 am–6:00 pm. Experience with Investran and U.S.

Qualifikationen

• BS Degree in Accounting preferred or other degree with strong foundation in accounting principles through relevant coursework.
• Experience in fund or partnership accounting, with a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, XIRR, and use of named ranges.
• Experience with Investran or similar fund accounting system(s) a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and maintain accounting records, supporting schedules, and financial reports for assigned clients.
• Process and reconcile cash activity, including recording journal entries and preparing wire transfers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Record and reconcile investment activity, such as purchases and sales, and interest accruals/income.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive workpapers that fully reconcile and support the trial balance.
• Prepare IRS Form 1099 in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure standard procedures and controls are adhered to.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information, resolve inquiries, and provide status updates.
• Ensure all processes are in line with the SLA and elevate when needed.
• Support the year end audit process as well as SOC 1 audit and SBA exam.
• Participate in projects focused on improving operational efficiency, including automation of Excel-based calculations and enhancement of workpaper processes.
• Perform internal tasks, including mandatory training and time tracking
