GENERAL FUNCTION:

Accountable for overall production, coaching, training, and developing a team of licensed retail bankers. May handle a large book of clients with complex financial profiles. Responsible for sales of a full range of securities products and achieving targeted securities fee income goals within the assigned territory. Design and customize coaching sessions to train bankers on investment strategies and product solutions. Conduct solo and joint appointments with bankers to identify potential clients and provide solutions aligned with their financial goals. Maintain a strong presence within the bank to develop relationships and credibility with internal and external clients.

Responsible for risk management by adhering to policies and procedures, raising concerns, and acting with integrity to ensure a positive customer experience. Operate within the bank's risk appetite while consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve sales goals while prioritizing clients' best interests.
  • Plan and conduct coaching sessions for retail bank employees.
  • Develop and conduct client meetings to review accounts and close sales, both individually and with licensed bankers.
  • Handle daily client needs, prioritize tasks, and delegate appropriately.
  • Follow up post-appointments to maintain relationships and generate referrals.
  • Manage sales planning for self and team to drive results and enhance client experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of financial products through ongoing education.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure follow-through.
  • Prepare internal reports for sales tracking.
  • Coordinate daily team activities to ensure accountability.
  • Conduct seminars to promote business development and growth.
  • Prioritize client needs and introduce additional services offered by Fifth Third Bank.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor to licensed bank employees.
  • Organize and share tools and skills to support bankers' success.
  • Guide the team towards achieving established goals and recognize achievements.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Experience in the Brokerage Industry.
  • Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65), and applicable state insurance licenses (Exception: 7 and 63 in Michigan and Ohio). Variable Annuity license required.
  • Motivated by sales, recognition programs, and internal competitions.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong coaching and teaching skills, capable of simplifying complex financial products.
  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of securities, investment products, and financial solutions.
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
