Job summary

Nassau Financial Group in Hartford, CT is hiring an Investment Data Integrity professional to ensure the accuracy of investment data across systems and downstream reporting. You will reconcile positions and transactions, perform data quality controls, and support the investment data warehouse and security master data.

This role works closely with Front Office, Investment Accounting, Treasury, Reporting, and Technology to investigate data issues, maintain controls, and deliver reliable data

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in investment operations or data operations.
• Foundational knowledge of financial instruments and the investment lifecycle.
• Experience with Clearwater, Bloomberg, custody portals, or order management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with investment data warehouses, data mappings, and transformation logic is a plus.
• Understanding of security master data, data quality controls, and governance principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, automation, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile investment positions and transactions across internal systems.
• Investigate data variances and escalate complex issues.
• Assist with root-cause analyses and corrective actions and preventive controls.
• Perform and monitor controls to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Support reconciliation and automation initiatives and system enhancements.
• Partner with Front Office to ensure accurate trade, security master, and model data capture; support Reporting for downstream data accuracy.
• Perform controls and reconciliations between source systems and the investment data warehouse.
• Research data variances and upscale complex issues; apply business rules and transformation logic.
• Document data sources, data flows, and downstream dependencies; monitor data quality.
• Collaborate with Technology and stakeholders to resolve data issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain and validate security master data across lifecycle; investigate routine data issues.
