HarbourVest Partners in Boston is seeking an Evergreen Portfolio Management Investment Data Associate to build and maintain the investment data universe and work on a nimble team connecting Portfolio Managers with capital markets, operations, and leadership.

You will develop data‑driven recommendations, support liquidity planning and portfolio construction, and create dashboards that transform complex data into actionable views for decision making.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in engineering, data science, or a quantitative investment environment.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and data analysis skills to support system design and testing.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proven ability to handle large, complex structured and unstructured data sets and ensure data quality.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary liaison between Evergreen Portfolio Management and HarbourVest’s investment data lake, ensuring seamless data access and alignment.
• Generate analytical insights that advise liquidity planning, portfolio construction, and performance optimization across evergreen strategies.
• Leverage the investment data lake to develop data‑driven recommendations that improve decision making.
• Maintain regular communication with portfolio managers and senior investment professionals to translate insights into actions.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships with the Quantitative Investment Sciences team to strengthen analytical rigor.
• Create and maintain dashboards that transform complex investment data into clear, actionable views for portfolio management.
• Produce materials supporting fundraising, client engagement, and firm inquiries using HarbourVest’s data repository.
• Innovate new applications of investment data across evergreen strategies to scale the platform and strengthen decision‑making.
