Job summary

HarbourVest Partners in Boston is seeking an Evergreen Portfolio Management Associate to support private equity evergreen funds. You will work with investment strategy teams and various support groups to manage portfolios, analyze diversification, and sizing within an active liquidity framework.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in private equity or related analysis, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Strong private equity and financial markets acumen.
• Comfort using quantitative models.
• Experience designing and maintaining reports/dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI/MicroStrategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the fund’s model portfolio and target investment parameters.
• Analyze diversification, tactical allocations, pacing and sizing.
• Monitor portfolio against objectives and market conditions.
• Manage day-to-day liquidity, cash balance and investments.
• Communicate with fund managers and senior investment professionals.
• Create content for internal/external questions and fundraising.
• Produce external marketing content and quarterly reports.
• Assist in thought pieces/white papers for evergreen marketing.
